HDT’s Nordic Air® Carolina Cooler is a unique, service-friendly package air conditioner designed for a variety of special purpose, heavy-duty industrial air conditioning applications. This compact, rugged unit can be used with duct work or it can be supplied with a distribution plenum for on-the-spot air delivery. Units available from 16,000 BTU/H to 60,000 BTU/H (4.7 to 17.6 kW) cooling capacity.

Features include:

  • 18 gauge Galvalume frame cabinet. Lift and remove access panels on all sides of the condenser section eliminating the need for tools to remove.
  • 10 fin per inch evaporator coil (others use up to 16 fins per inch enabling a faster build-up of dirt and corrosion which can cause system malfunction)
  • Stainless steel drain pan
  • Coils are sealed with an epoxy coating for corrosion resistance, protection from leaks and easier coil cleaning
