HDT Shelter Lighting Solutions
HDT’s comprehensive shelter lighting solutions mean that we have the ideal system for every shelter application. Designed for heavy-duty field use, all HDT lights are stringable and come with mounting straps for easy, one-person set-up.
HDT’s M-Flex Lighting System sets the standard in efficiency for expeditionary shelter lighting. The ultra low-profile, flexible LED lights install rapidly and, once in place, can be left in the shelter, speeding subsequent set-up / strike times. The M-Flex Lighting System operates in white light or blackout modes, has an integrated power supply and dimmer switch and uses either AC or optional DC power sources.
LED shelter lighting offers up to 60% lower power consumption than fluorescent lights and a usage rating of 50,000 hours. Orderable with or without EMI protection, the LED lights are available in multiple string set configurations and are interoperable with fluorescent light strings.
Our fluorescent light kits are packed in rugged, cushioned air-tight cases for safe transport in expeditionary environments. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) hardened lighting, blue filter, red filter and blackout filter options are available to provide the widest variety of lighting options for individual shelter configurations.
Lastly, HDT offers the DRASHLITE, a strip light in a rugged, waterproof green aluminum housing with twin, 55 watt, u-shaped light bulbs. The DRASHLITE has a carry handle, hanging strap and carry bag and is available as a two light kit or a four light kit.
