HDT Unveils the New and Improved IASH-M Heater, Continuing Legacy of Innovation and Reliability
SOLON, Ohio – June 13, 2025 – HDT, a trusted leader in environmental control solutions for extreme environments, announces the launch of the new IASH-M (Improved Army Space Heater – Medium) – the latest evolution in a long line of high-performance, dependable shelter heaters.
The IASH-M replaces the CV125, MV60, and MV125 shelter heaters, offering improved efficiency, enhanced reliability, and simplified maintenance – all while maintaining the rugged durability and reliable performance required by the US military.

Building on the proven design of the IASH II (Improved Army Space Heater – II), the IASH-M is a more compact, man-portable shelter heater. Engineered for versatility, the IASH-M is an ideal solution for efficiently heating a wide range of military shelter systems, delivering clean, heated air from outside the tent or enclosure. Designed with operational flexibility in mind, it is stackable, supports multi-voltage use, and requires minimal maintenance. Additionally, the IASH-M’s enhanced airflow ensures improved heating performance across diverse environments.

While production of the CV125, MV60, and MV125 heaters will be discontinued, HDT will continue to support these legacy heaters with spares, replacement parts and our team of field service representatives.
