HDT Global Secures $450 Million Contract for Improved Environmental Control Unit Program
SOLON, Ohio – April 15, 2025 – HDT Global (HDT), a leading provider of advanced environmental control solutions, has been awarded a $450 million, indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) 10-year contract for the 9/18/36k Improved Environmental Control Unit (IECU) Program. This significant contract highlights HDT’s decades of expertise and technical leadership in the design, development and manufacturing of environmental control products for US military applications.

The IECUs developed under this contract offer significant advancements in supportability and reliability while reducing size, weight and power consumption. Additionally, these units incorporate non ozone depleting refrigerants, ensuring compliance with both domestic and international environmental regulations.
