US Army Medical Program representatives used HDT’s DRASH Shelter to demonstrate field operating room capabilities to the medical personnel at Erlanger Health System, a non-profit teaching center. You can read more about this event as reported by WRCB TV, Chattanooga.

HDT’s engineering excellence in robotics and prosthetic arms is showcased in this New York Times article with video. Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab is experimenting using existing peripheral nerve endings in amputees to control HDT’s robotic arms.

On August 26, 2014, HDT was awarded a contract from the U.S. Air Force for our Thor® 200 flight line air conditioner. The contract calls for a total estimated quantity of 400 units over a five year timeframe. The U.S. Air Force took delivery of their first units in March, 2015.
