HDT Global Announces New Leadership
SOLON, Ohio – February 11, 2014 – HDT Global (HDT), a provider of highly-engineered mobile military and emergency response solutions, today announces the HDT Global Board of Directors has appointed R. Andrew Hove as President. Mr. Hove replaces Jason Chamberlain, the company’s President and CEO, who is retiring. Mr. Hove has served as the President of Hunter Defense Technologies, Inc. and HDT Expeditionary Systems, Inc. since January, 2013.
“During his tenure at HDT, Andy’s leadership has been instrumental in the development of corporate strategy, in streamlining operational processes and in implementing business processes”, said John Gilligan. “The Board of Directors and I are pleased to have Andy assume this expanded leadership role as President of HDT Global.”
With more than 25 years of experience in defense and security, Mr. Hove has a successful record of leading key initiatives, core business growth and new business development. He is a former Army officer who served in a wide range of operational, command and staff assignments. His executive positions in the defense industry include Chief Operating Officer at Mistral Group, President of Oshkosh Defense, Vice President of Combat Systems Programs at BAE Systems, Director of Bradley Fighting Vehicle Programs at United Defense and Assistant General Manager for Operations at FNSS Defense Systems.
Mr. Hove is a board member of the National Defense Industry Association and serves on the audit committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University, a Master of National Security Affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
