HDT Global Selected by Lockheed Martin to support the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program
SOLON, Ohio – February 28, 2023 – HDT Global (HDT) announced today its previous selection by prime contractor Lockheed Martin to support the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) development effort for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Work has already commenced on HDT’s contract to provide custom missile transportation and emplacement trailers for this program.

The Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) is slated to be a part of the current Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System which protects the homeland against intercontinental ballistic missile threats from rogue nations. HDT Global and its team in Cincinnati, Ohio have been tapped to execute the engineering, development, manufacture, proof loading and delivery of the Lockheed Martin NGI transportation system.
