HDT’s robotic manipulator arms are safe to operate around people, without any requirement for physical separation. Despite their high strength, HDT’s Adroit arms are so lightweight and force-sensitive that it is simple to keep any possible impact force well within the safe range for cooperative operations with people.
Dirty, nasty environments don’t affect Adroit arms. They are sealed to IP66, which means they withstand high-pressure water wash down. They operate in the extreme cold — well below freezing — as well as in swelteringly hot conditions.
Offering true force sensing, Adroit arms can be fully compliant to outside forces, moving out of the way rather than breaking. Their built-in force sensitivity takes collaborative assembly capabilities to a whole new level.
