As a leading innovator in soft-walled military shelters, HDT Global quickly established itself as a reliable solutions provider for many Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives. Most of the shelter solutions were conceived for rapid deployment via air, land or sea in response to emerging global conflicts, natural disasters, terrorist activities, humanitarian efforts and other emergency situations requiring versatile mobile facilities.
The first Army-wide program to adopt HDT Global equipment was the Patriot Air and Missile Defense System, whereby HDT provides a DRASH® 4XB Shelter and UST Trailer with power and HVAC support. Since then, HDT cemented its reputation for rugged reliability as part of the U.S. Army’s Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS) to provide a standardized command post to all maneuver brigades in the Army.
As part of the Army’s Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS), HDT provided the Trailer Mounted Support System (TMSS) available in Medium or Large, in cooperation with Northrop Grumman Corporations Command Post Platform (CPP), to field a high mobility tactical operations center that can be rapidly deployed for command, control and communications on the battlefield. More than 5,000 of these shelter systems are currently in use across the US Army and by NATO forces.
HDT Global produces combat-proven systems whose key features of reliability, rapid deployment, and flexibility seamlessly integrate with other systems in providing a complete solution to support the modern warfighter. In addition to supporting the U.S. Army’s SICPS program, HDT has numerous additional programs providing standardized solutions for the Army, Air Force and Marines. Other DoD programs supported by HDT Global are described by the links listed below.
