HDT’s UH48E TYPE IV is a versatile heater that is suitable for a wide variety of applications – from an indoor, permanently-mounted solution to outside temporary applications. The UH48E TYPE IV features 15,000 BTU/H (4.4 kW) of heat output at an air flow rate of 100 CFM (170 m3/h). The heater operates on a variety of liquid fuels (DF1, DF2, DFA or JP8) and is designed to operate in temperatures as low as -60°F (-51.1°C). The UH48E TYPE IV heater has a powerful fan system that delivers uncontaminated heat to your shelter in all climates. This heater model has been in service, providing safe reliable heat to soldiers for decades. The UH48E TYPE IV heater features low voltage controls to protect from shock hazard and runs at a standard 28VDC power.
