OpenAire™ Filter Housing

The OpenAire™ CBR Filter Housing offers higher filtration capacities at lower weight and cost, making it ideal for most ColPro applications. These filter systems hold from 1 to 128 CBR filters (25,600-cfm) and weigh up to 50% less (5-deep length) than the U.S. Navy housing.

The standard configuration uses a 2-piece front cover system for independent compression of gas and particulate filters. It is also available with a 1-piece front cover when using the NATO CBR filter.

A fully functional CBR Filter System includes the filter system described in this section along with CBR filters and prefilters.

To determine filter system size, use the following information based on the flow rate required and available dimensional constraints. Housings are available in eight (8) lengths. Choosing the longest length that meets your dimensional constraint will provide the lowest cost system.
