HDT has over 30 years of experience in developing specialized chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) protection products to make environments safe for people and valuable assets. We are the leading supplier of CBRN filters and filtration systems to the U.S. military, providing military specification (MIL-SPEC) filter systems for use in vehicles, ships, shelters and buildings. Our protective products also include proven military Col/Pro CBRN filters and filtration systems for homeland defense and emergency responders.

HDT offers a full range of CBRN systems and components that provide positive-pressure collective protection against CBRN agents to mobile, transportable and fixed equipment, as well as hard- and soft-wall shelters. Each HDT CBRN filter and filter system has been rigorously tested and field proven for unmatched durability and reliable operation.

HDT’s CBRN filter sets, integrated canisters and positive-pressure collective protection systems share the same original grade filtration assemblies. That means they contain filters for removal of both biological aerosols and chemical vapors. A High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance (HEPA) filter is included for removing aerosols and microbiological agents, such as bacteria, fungi and some viruses. The chemical, gas or vapor removal components of HDT filter sets and canisters (military-grade, ASZM-TEDA, impregnated, activated carbon filters) remove 99.99% of CBRN agents in gaseous or vapor form.
