HDT’s 18K EEECU delivers 18,000 BTU/H cooling capacity at 130°F (5.3 kW at 54.4°C) and 13,660 BTU/H (4 kW) heating capacity using the environmentally acceptable refrigerant R-410A.

The versatile, lightweight 18K EEECU is equipped with comprehensive on-board diagnostics, inrush current limiting, fresh-air input through an independent fresh air fan system, and a two-speed evaporator blower that provides more comfortable heat by reducing the effect of evaporative cooling. The unit includes a canvas condenser cover and a power cable.

The 18K EEECU delivers Energy Efficiency Ratings (EERs) 20% higher than other ECUs available in the market and is designed to the USMC-Enhanced Environmental Control Units (E2CU) interface and performance requirements. It is GSA listed as a COTS Ruggedized ECU and has undergone MIL-SPEC tests for MIL-STD 810, vibration, MIL-STD 810F, salt fog, high and low temperature tests per IAW ASHRAE STD 37 and IAW MIL-STD 461E-Method RE-102 radiated emissions and Method CS101 conducted susceptibility.
