Q: What does HDT specialize in?

A: HDT Engineered Technologies designs and manufactures state-of-the-art, fully integrated, deployable solutions. We provide shelters; generators; heaters; air filtration devices; chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) collective protection (ColPro) systems; and other products to U.S. and allied forces around the world. Our products are highly adaptable and perform well in extreme environments. HDT meets the specific needs of command posts; hospitals; military barracks; emergency medical treatment units; decontamination facilities; and command and control operation centers. We’re successful because we provide unsurpassed worldwide support in product training and after-sale support — no matter what issues our customers encounter. Q: How has HDT recently changed?

A: HDT has acquired organizations with expertise in deployable technology solutions and advanced engineering. This experience and capability has been integrated into our overall structure and is now represented in our business units. The business units have been re-organized into integrated corporate teams that are now working closely together to provide robust, innovative, deployable and turnkey engineered technologies to meet our customers’ needs. Our business units have been integrated in order to provide stronger, more comprehensive corporate offerings to our customers, vendors, resellers and partners.  

Q: What is HDT known for and what types of products does it develop?

A: HDT is widely recognized for its industry-leading production of state-of-the art, fully integrated, deployable solutions such as shelters, generators, heaters and air filtration devices that are currently being used by U.S. and allied military units deployed worldwide.
We design and manufacture these engineered solutions and expeditionary products and combine them with advanced modular shelters to create turnkey, integrated, mobile facilities that meet specific needs in the field including: command posts; hospitals; military living quarters; emergency medical treatment units; CBRN decontamination facilities for first responders; and operations centers requiring command and control (C2) functionality.

Q: Beyond deployable shelter and tactical systems, what else is HDT known for?

A: HDT is widely recognized for its advanced product development, prototyping and engineering capability through the provision of custom solutions in aerospace (space and recovery), robotics, chemical/biological protection, parachute and aerial delivery systems, military sensor systems and expeditionary shelter and power technologies.
