SOLON, Ohio – August 26, 2019 – HDT Global (HDT), a leading provider of highly engineered solutions for extreme environments across military, public and private sectors, announced today that James DiSanto has joined HDT as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. DiSanto brings a wealth of knowledge and financial leadership experience in US and international manufacturing equipment services sector.

Mr. DiSanto is an accomplished executive with 25 years of financial experience. Before joining HDT, he was CFO of Ferno Group – a global leader in the development and manufacture of patient handling equipment for the EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) market. During his tenure, Mr. DiSanto helped lead a plan that reinvested in Ferno’s core product portfolio and divested non-core businesses. He also led the re-financing of the company’s capital structure in support of those efforts.

Prior to his tenure at Ferno, Mr. DiSanto served as CFO for LION Group, a global leader in the development and manufacture of personal protective equipment (PPE) for firefighters and CBRN PPE for tactical law enforcement and US Armed Forces. In his career, he has held other senior financial roles with Crane Co., Stanley Black & Decker and General Electric. Mr. DiSanto began his career at his late father’s CPA firm in his hometown of Albany, NY. He holds an MBA in Finance from Russell Sage College and a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Plattsburgh.
